Other than that one class school can be... kind of harsh. It's nice to be somewhere not so rigid sometimes.

I don't know. My dad loves Bing Crosby and I'm pretty sure he hasn't written anything.

That's all I've really tried. Most everyone else tells me that writing is a waste of time.

All the time. It's hard to put a piece of yourself out there for people to judge, but ultimate it's worth it.

When you get older, you start to give less of a damn of what people think and say about you.

I don't know. It seems like all my parents care about is what people think of them.

How much they make, their jobs, what college I'm going to go to.

That sounds really ungrateful, but sometimes it seems like they don't think for themselves.

Yeah. Parents can be that way. A lot of people can be that way.

I should say that it's not easy to not care what people think about you. You have to make an effort at it.

I guess I'm slowly getting there. Sometimes there's more to worry about than what other people think about you.
